Pastor Nathaniel grew up in a Christian family in Daleville, VA. As a student at Virginia Tech, Nathaniel fell in love with gospel through the ministry of Campus Crusade for Christ. Following college, Nathaniel, moved to Denton, TX and attended Denton Bible Church, where he began sensing God's leading into Christian ministry. This ministry began by serving with Campus Crusade in Melbourne, Australia. In 2004, Nathaniel moved to Wake Forest, NC, to attend Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a M.Div, in Advanced Biblical Studies, and a Ph.D. in in interdisciplinary studies with a focus on hermeneutics. While at seminary, Nathaniel met Kanon, they were married in 2011, and now have two children — Dorothy and June.

Pastor Joel grew up in Baker County, FL and began his walk with God as a young child. God began to stir deeply in his heart during high school when he led a youth worship band and began to study the Bible more diligently for himself. In 2010, Joel moved to Wake Forest, NC to study at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. There he earned a B.S. in Christian ministry and an M.Div. in Christian Studies. Upon graduation, Joel moved back to Baker County. He married Abby in 2019 and their first child, Heidi Kathryn, was born in 2022.
